Allied Health, JHC
A newly reconfigured Allied Health space at Joondalup Health Campus, delivered within a live clinical environment with minimal disruption and hospital grade finishes throughout.
The Allied Health project at Joondalup Health Campus delivered a reconfigured clinical suite within a live hospital environment, improving patient flow and supporting day-to-day operations while maintaining strict infection control.
Works commenced with the staged demolition of existing internal partitions, ceilings and finishes, along with early ceiling rough-ins to coordinate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, data, security and nurse call services. Service isolations and cut-ins were carefully managed to avoid unplanned disruption to adjacent hospital areas, with works sequenced to maintain safe access for staff and visitors.
The new layout incorporated reception and waiting areas, consult rooms, staff workspaces, storage and support spaces. Hospital-grade finishes were installed throughout, including durable vinyl flooring, hygienic wall protection, compliant doorsets and hardware, acoustic ceilings, upgraded lighting, and integrated clinical joinery to suit healthcare standards.
The project required close coordination with Bridge 42 as Superintendent, Ramsay FM and clinical stakeholders to manage noisy works, deliveries, and waste movements. Sealed hoarding, dust suppression measures, and daily housekeeping were implemented to protect the live environment, ensuring the refurbished Allied Health areas were delivered safely, compliantly, and with minimal impact to ongoing patient care.
