Physiotherapy Gym, JHC
A successful infill and engineered conversion of a disused hydrotherapy pool into functional floor space for a new physiotherapy gym within a live hospital environment.
This project involved the controlled demolition of the embedded services surrounding the disused pool, before installing an engineered steel structure into the pool void. Bondek sheeting was then applied to the steel structure so an infill of concrete could be layered onto the platform.
