Over the past three years, having build a good working relationship with CBH Group, they identified the need to be able to procure smaller quantities of varying accommodation units including single person quarters, common rooms and kitchen, dining and laundry units to meet the operational needs for new, refurbished or extended accommodation villages to an accelerated programme. Utilising our hardstand, we are able to accelerate the process for constructing these units.

From award we have six to eight weeks of procurement for long lead items such as the skid bases, doors and windows and then continue on into construction which is approximately 12 weeks. This is a far faster programme than their previous orders as we are able commence immediately. In addition to procurement and construction, we design the units, workshopping with CBH the operational need. Through experience, we have created a skid base extension which has enable the construction and commissioning of hot water units and mechanical systems before transport, reducing the amount of construction on site to derisk any issues of damage in transport – often to remote, regional locations; with surety with these systems are fully functional before landing on site.
